2021 was a success!

As the year rounds up this week, if everyone of us were to be asked to share our experiences throughout the course of the year, I know we would all have many stories to tell. We’ve experienced a worldwide lockdown due to the novel Corona virus, the End Sars protests, the Sorosoke generation, palliatives looting, and a host of others. So many things have happened globally, internationally, intranationally, intercontinentally, intracontinentally, and most especially personally. We’ve had many sad memories and even many more happy memories in between. In fact, if all we have experienced were to be penned down, I am certain that we all would be novelists by now.

After passing through all of these in this year, you and I deserve to be celebrated! I know some of us have gone through a lot in this year to the extent that they think they don’t deserve any celebration because things didn’t work out as planned. But, mehn, you are seeing the end of 2020 already. You are a legend! 2020 has taken a lot of things and people but here you are joyfully reading this article in great health. I repeat, you are a legend!

Please at this point in the year, you seriously need to forget about your imperfections and celebrate yourself. Do not wait for anybody please, do something to celebrate yourself already. Go to that party. Eat that delicacy you have been craving for all year long. Throw those dance steps even if they look awkward.😂 Give somebody something special. Call that friend to celebrate him or her. Enjoy and make yourself happy already. And if you forget to do so, I celebrate you, because you are one of those who have made my 2020 a year to remember.❤️

And as you jolly, remember to plan for the incoming year. Put those dreams on paper and write out the things you would do to make them a reality. Create the new year yourself. Design your new year to the extent that you would be able to say to yourself that “2021 was a success” even when you’re still in 2020.

In finality, make the rest of 2020 a bliss for yourself and remember to create your 2021 with your imagination, your hands, and your actions. I wish you a very happy new year in advance.
