And Samuel Died...
Carefully study those words in blue before you continue reading today's newsletter. If you didn't get it, take a look at this same scripture with another version. Here:
You still don't get it? Have you seen what I am trying to show you here? Let’s look at another different version. Maybe you’ll get it from there.
Do you get it now? One man named Samuel died and the whole nation of Israel grieved over him, the whole country came to his funeral! Do you know what that means? This is the peak of greatness I have ever read about my entire life and it's not even an exaggeration.
I am a person who loves to study the scripture on a daily basis and as I was studying yesterday, that verse struck me. It was the first verse and I couldn't get over it. I found it difficult to move on to the next verses.
If you don't get it let's bring it down to our current dispensation and our country. Take a country like Nigeria for example. It's like saying I died (for example) and the whole nation grieved over me. When I mean the whole nation, I literally mean “THE WHOLE NATION!” This means that every tribe and culture was grieving over my death. As in, I mean Igbo, Yoruba, Hausa, Efik, Fulani, Edo, Urhobo, Igbira, Ijebu, and so many other tribes under Nigeria mourning all because a single man died. I repeat again, THIS IS THE PEAK OF GREATNESS I HAVE EVER READ ABOUT MY ENTIRE LIFE!
For someone to be honored like that, he must have made massive impacts all over the nation. That ilk of a man must have lived a sacrificial life all his life. That man must have been so humble to always recognize to put every other person first in all of his dealings. That sort of person must have been serving people all of his life.
I do not know about you but I really wish that I am recognized like that when I finally leave this earth. I know it won't be easy but I will make sure to live a life of service to humanity till the very end. What about you?
Tell me your thoughts in the comments section. I’d love to hear it.
Wait wait, you want to leave without sharing?👀👀I trust that you won't.🤗 We will meet again tomorrow and until then, stay jiggy!😌
