What have you heard about April Fool's Day? What story were you told? How were you pranked? Or to put it better, how were you fooled? I remember almost losing it in secondary school when three of my classmates told me that we were to submit an assignment by 9am; the assignment that was meant to be submitted in three days time. The assignment was given by a teacher who was very strict in those days and the consequences of not submitting was going to be really bad so I just had to find a way to do it. They pranked me and I foolishly fell for their tricks. I ran helter-skelter in panic and fear trying to get myself to do the assignment for almost an hour before they came back and screamed “APRIL FOOL!” You should have seen the look on my face on that day. I was looking like a young lad that lost a ten naira note.😂
Today I am not going to take your time at all. I just want to give you a brief history of how April Fool's day began. It all began in 1906 when a famous artisan drew a painting in an inverted manner to show his expertise. He unveiled this painting on April 1st and by evening, he turned it upside down because he wanted people to see another thing entirely. He thought he was going to impress the people and he really did but it didn't end there. They claimed to have been fooled by his painting and so the April fool's day culture begin from there.
Should I tell you something? YOU HAVE JUST BEEN FOOLED!😂 That April Fool’s Day story is one hundred percent fabricated. I am sorry but you just have to be fooled today in one way or the other.😂 Happy April Fool's Day and Happy New Month. I also need to inform you that this month is going to be full for you and I because you’d be getting a newsletter from me everyday of the month. I mean E-V-E-R-Y-D-A-Y!😌
Don't be fooled alone. Invite a friend to the cruise and don't forget to drop a comment. We’ll meet again tomorrow.😍
Thought I have escaped being fooled today
