Be a senior man like Ayomide.
Struggling with consistency is better than struggling with nothing. Staying in the safe and undisturbed zone, the “I cannot stress myself” arena is a very dangerous attitude that shouldn't be condoned if you plan to clinch anything in life. That I can tell you is the worst thing that can happen to any human on earth.
Sometimes, your inconsistency with something might not be as a result of your lackadaisical or careless attitude, sometimes it might be because you have many other things on your desk and when you get to finish them, you don't get to do that thing. That type of inconsistency is “humanly okay.” It is permissible as long as you make out time to cover up for those days you have missed when you finally get the chance.
That attitude of “making up for lost times” is what makes senior men and the man in the picture above is a great example. Ayomide reminds me of my attitude a lot. He doesn't get to read my newsletter daily maybe because of his busy schedule and all (because I know he is a busy man) but whenever he gets the chance, he makes sure to cover up for lost times. That type of attitude is a great one that is worth commending.
Look what he did yesterday.
He went back in time to cover up for lost times on my newsletters. Now I am not just impressed because he did it for my newsletter but I am also impressed with the fact that he’s been doing it for a while. It’s not the first time he is doing such.
So it’s okay not to be consistent at times because we are humans after all, we cannot be totally perfect. But it’s not okay to be inconsistent and be comfortable with it. When inconsistencies set in due to factors that just cannot be evicted, you should always have it in mind to make up for the lost times like that man in the image above. That is how senior men behave.
PS: Senior men are people (male and female) who have an overcoming mentality and are always investing in personal growth and improvement.
I wish you a money filled day on this Monday. Do have a great day ahead and I'll see you in tomorrow's newsletter.🤗
