Before you begin today’s busy schedule, you need to quickly digest this simple formula of greatness.
For anyone who desires greatness, then the fear of God is an essential tool you must have. This is because the fear of God is a propeller that automatically produces the attributes that make a man great.
Let’s quickly look at three effects of the God.
The fear of God births true knowledge.
When a man fears God, he will begin to get the true knowledge behind every existing thing on earth. Those who haven't experienced this before will call it a fallacy because it doesn't sound real to them.
That’s why God said that He uses His wisdom to confound the wisdom of the world. I have experienced it before so I can blatantly tell you that true knowledge is only birthed as a result of the fear of God.
Secondly:
The fear of God births wisdom.
Wisdom according to my mentor is the application of knowledge. When you know something and you begin to put it to use, then that’s wisdom.
When you fear God, He begins to fill you with His knowledge and as you put that knowledge into use, divine wisdom sets in.
Lastly:
The fear of God brings mercy.
After knowledge comes wisdom and after wisdom comes mercy. They follow each other in a sequential order.
The mercy of God only comes on those who fear Him after they have converted the knowledge that comes with the fear into wisdom. (You might want to read that again.)
The fear of God has numerous results in man. It is not limited to these three. As a matter of fact, these three are only building blocks for other extraordinary things that a great man must possess.
By next week Monday, we'll dig deeper into that subject. We'll be discussing about smoking tomorrow as we always do on Tuesdays.
Do stay jiggy until then,
