Last week Monday, I started this topic on how important the fear of God is in the subject of greatness.
In this kingdom, the kingdom of God, you cannot be great without fearing the Lord. It’s not possible.
It might be possible to attain greatness in the world without necessarily having to fear God because such greatness is not a glorification to His name. But if you want to be great in the kingdom of God, you need the fear of God.
Last week we discussed how the fear of the Lord brings knowledge, wisdom and mercy from God so today let’s look into two more benefits of fearing the Lord.
The fear of the Lord causes divine provision.
This is another attribute to note about great men. They don't lack. They know what they need and they always get it.
Also:
The fear of the Lord brings health and vitality.
What's the essence of the great man if he doesn't have the health to orchestrate his greatness? No matter how great a person is, if he doesn't have the right health, his greatness cannot be fully manifested.
All of these benefits of the the fear of God that I have mentioned since last week till today are quite essential ingredients of greatness. If just one of these is missing, we cannot truly call a person great.
But you don't need to worry yourself trying to look for it all because there are obviously still more asides these ones mentioned. All you need to do is fear the Lord and you’ll get every other thing.
