When Real Madrid managed to score one goal in the 89th minute yesterday night, I just knew there was danger for City. I have been watching Real Madrid's football for a while now and I know the secret behind their constant game overturns. In fact, this secret is in the Bible and I am going to quickly show you today.
If you didn't watch yesterday's game, what happened there was simple. The game was already in the 88th minute, Manchester City were one nil up (5-3 on aggregate), Real Madrid needed a miracle of 3 goals to qualify to the finals and they found it in the space of 12 minutes! The first two came in 2 minutes so they headed to extra time and they found the last one.
Real Madrid doesn't have a better squad than City, it was obvious yesterday. But Real Madrid are a legend at overturning leads in short time periods. Why? Let me show you scripturally.
The leadership quality in that squad is not because they are the better team but because they know how to work hard until the final whistle is blown. They might not have the best team always but they know how to sustain their energy and work very hard until it is over. They never show a sign of laziness. That's leadership.
When people write or talk about leadership, they say a lot of things which are truly not wrong in its own context but many do not remember to include this primary ingredient. They usually forget the ever winning hard work formula.
If you do not stop, hard work never fails. Laziness is what makes many people lose their faith and power. It happened to Manchester City yesterday, it happened to Chelsea last month and it happened to PSG too. All of these three giants fell by the hands of those Real Madrid engines, do you still think that is a coincidence?
Well I won't be surprised if they do the same to Liverpool in the final because it’s not about how good your team or squad is; it’s about how hard your team is willing to work to grind out the desired results.
