Opeyemi had left Precious in the hostel that she first landed when she got to school with the anxious expectation that she was going in to settle down with a better person but it eventually turned out that she was outrightly wrong!

From the first day she started living with her roommate Amanda, Opeyemi had already began to dislike the kind of atmosphere that the girl carried. It started with the way Amanda was terribly amazed whenever Opeyemi answered questions regarding her personal self. For example, on that day, Amanda asked Opeyemi how old she was and when Opeyemi replied that she was nineteen, hell almost let loose with the way Amanda screamed. She was like “Eeeeeeh! 19 years old! How you take enter university? And you con get body like say you don born pikin like this, nawa ooo.”

Although the point Amanda was trying to portray was true, she didn’t have to do it that way. By the time that Opeyemi clocked 12 years of age, her breasts were already getting her loads of admirers different places she used to go to. Her breasts were like that of someone that is five years older than her. She isn’t plumpy and one cannot call her slim either, she just had this exuberant physique with a strikingly beautiful face, a gleaming chocolate skin, a mouth salivating front view and a super dope sexy back view. It simply made her look like Beyonce!

So being surprised about Opeyemi's body physique at that age isn’t a big deal but screaming on the top of your voice like a pregnant woman in labor, like the way Amanda did, is totally unacceptable.

Also, when Opeyemi told Amanda that she was still a virgin, Amanda didn’t want to believe it at first, she thought that Opeyemi was lying. But when Opeyemi told her that she had never had a boyfriend before, Amanda couldn’t believe her ears. It left her amazed to the extent that she didn’t even realize that she had left her mouth wide open for about a minute. She went ahead to narrate stories about how she lost her virginity at the age of 15 and how she changes boyfriends like they are pants. It irritated Opeyemi and even left her in awe but she didn’t show it. She didn’t want to behave like Amanda who although was three years older than her, didn't know how to compose herself. She managed to maintain her cool.

During the first few weeks that the duo spent together, Opeyemi had already discovered many reasons why Amanda wasn’t a suitable roomie of hers. At a point, she wanted to change her roommate and she told Precious about it, but Precious had told her that there was no way out. She had no option but to continue to live with Amanda for the next one year. To be sincere, one year was really a long time with that type of roommate but Opeyemi was confident that with the help of Christ, she would be able to manage Amanda without having too many problems.

At this point in Opeyemi’s thoughts, she still couldn’t decipher what went wrong. “Why does it have to be this hard? Why can’t I find the problem and just deal with it immediately?” She thought. But regardless of how hard it may seem, she was hell-bent on finding it so she continued with her meditation. But before she continued, she prayed to God to help her out and after the prayer she suddenly felt a sense of assurance that she was going to unravel whatever went wrong. It was the first time that she prayed in almost two years and it felt like a revival in her soul.
