They have just killed me.

Yesterday I was checking through my social media platforms when I saw someone post something like “Someday, I will be known globally!” I was thrilled. I went ahead to check his profile and on his bio I found: “I do not give a sh*t about what you think or say I am. Too young to be responsible.” Like really? And you want to be known globally?😳

I thought I was dreaming until I checked through his other posts and found out that he was truly irresponsible. I was disappointed. I actually thought he had something doing before he could make such a bold claim on social media. But that’s not the end, I found something more interesting.

After that post, I saw another one from another person. This person’s post read “Someday I will be richer than Bill Gates!” I thought okay, this must be a fast rising dedicated entrepreneur. Then I checked his bio and it read “Smoke is life, weed is its essence.” That was what killed me. I gave up. Indeed he will be richer than Bill Gates, but only in the realm of his smoke.😂

When you hear the name Bill Gates what comes to your mind? What is the first thing you think about? World’s richest man isn't it? Asides that what else do you think of? Isn't it Microsoft?

Okay let’s use another example. What about Vin Diesel? What is he into? We all know don't we?

But today we have numerous jokers all over the internet and all over the world itself. They’ll say I want to become this and I want to become that but they have no track record of anything. They do not have an identity but they want to rule the world. Those kind of people cannot become anything in this present world that we are in. Maybe in the past world, but not this one.

But I know you aren't one of those people. And even if you are, I know it's changing this morning. Before you think about becoming anything, build an identity for yourself first. Be known for something.

Now the question is how do you do that? It’s simple. Just choose one thing and keep being consistent at it daily for at least 2 years or more. You’re thinking it’s too long? Well that’s what greatness takes. Mention any great man you know out there that hasn't been in the business of his greatness for at least 2 years.
