They said I am rude.😏
Hello there! Good Monday morning.
I want to change my approach this week because some people have complained that I do not even say hi in my newsletters. They said I am rude.
I am sorry. It’s because the messages I pass always hit hard in my heart that I forget my manners.
This morning as I have promised, we'll look into one of the many greatness formulas according to the scripture.
This man Job was recorded in the scripture as the greatest man in the east in his days. He was that great.
But there's one thing evident in this part of the scripture. Job was a man of complete integrity. That's one ingredient of greatness that must be properly emphasized.
I know that there are quite a number of people who are supposedly great in this world without any integrity but surely their greatness will soon wane away.
When humans realize that they have been trusting the wrong person, they will come against such person.
But greatness which lasts forever according to the scripture requires not just integrity but complete integrity.
Now what's integrity?
It’s simple. Integrity is strict obedience to God’s rules and regulations.
Note the word strict there. If the obedience isn't strict then it isn't integrity.
Integrity is not what many people think it to be. It isn't just being truthful and honest always. It goes beyond that. It goes beyond trying to live by moral standards. It's something deeper.
It’s about living according to God's standards and principles even when it isn't comfortable. It’s about denying yourself many things because of God even when you do not understand why you are doing so. Job understood and practiced this and he was great.
Show me a man of integrity and I will show you a man that greatness beckons on (that’s if he isn't great already).
So do you have integrity?
It’s totally up to you to decide your greatness.
Until tomorrow,
Stay intentional,
Abayomi Johnson.
