Vision is not what you think it is.
I discovered something new yesterday. Though I have read it once in one of Bishop David Oyedepo's books, I just came into its full meaning yesterday.
Vision is not what we thought it to be. Vision is something else entirely.
The book of Proverbs chapter 29 and verse 18 showed me this.
We need to look at it in two different bible versions to grasp what I am trying to explain here.
In the King James Version (KJV) it says:
Meanwhile in the New Living Translation (NLT) it says:
We need to carefully observe the differences in the words of both versions while keeping it in mind that they mean the same thing.
What the King James Version calls vision is what the New Living Translation calls divine guidance.
So vision is not just a dream or an imagination or a wish or a written goal as people call it. Vision is simply divine guidance. It is guidance from the heavens, direction from God.
This is why the latter part of that scripture refers to it as the law. The law in this context means the written word of God, the bible.
Vision is not what you and I thought it was. Vision is something else entirely. Vision is the bible.
Do you need vision? Then go to your bible. You will get divine direction from there and it will become a vision in you. That’s the secret code.
PS: It’s UEFA Champions League Final today! Who do you think is going to win? I am rooting for Real Madrid to win it over Liverpool. What about you? Tell me in the comments section please.
Till tomorrow,
Stay intentional,
