What consistency does.

Before you start reading this, I would like you to flashback and think of instances when you started something new and you were condemned for it. But because you didn't stop, you were later accepted by those critics. Have you ever experienced such before?

It’s quite customary for people to condemn an uprising vision. Oppositions are always bound whenever a big dream is just starting to become reality. There are always very discouraging comments from people who do not believe in such big dreams. But there is a prominent factor that can polarize any form of condemnation or opposition on any vision. It is consistency.

When a person is consistent enough with his dreams and goals, everyone around would just seem to be in support as time goes on. This ilk of support isn’t something that is generated from promiscuous intents but from regular deposits of actions into the consistency bank.

Consistency breaks any form of disbelief. It brings down the wall of doubt in your audience. It ascertains authenticity, genuine focus, and passion.

When the famous mobile phone company, Tecno, started their brand in the year 2003, I vividly remember them starting with small cellphones that had a battery life that could barely last 24 hours. But soon enough, they were widely accepted around the globe. How did this happen? Tecno kept on producing different types of phones consistently and it got to a point where the market could no longer resist them.

The consistency they had committed to gave them room for constant improvement. They kept on improving with every production of theirs. And in the long run, they weren’t just irresistible, they were also being sought after in the market. Ever since then, they have been in the front run in the market and they are now one of the leading companies in the mobile phone market space.

Consistency provides room for constant improvement which results in respect and support from a targeted audience. This type of respect and support cannot be accomplished through any other means. Only consistency provides such.

As you go out today, do not let those voices of condemnation weigh you down on the journey to accomplishing your goals. Do not let those voices stop you from making enough deposits into the consistency bank. Continue to forge ahead with your consistent actions and you’d soon be accepted by those critics. Remember, now is the time to be highly committed to consistency!
