Write it down or write it off.
Yesterday I discovered something. I thought to look back into past recent months to check my personal growth progress. I was amazed at what I discovered. Here's how the summary looked like.
Writing- 10%
Reading- 20%
Exercise- 2%
Spiritual things- 68%
Altogether- 100%
Yes I am growing but according to my type of ideology and the type of future me I have envisaged for myself, I discovered that I am not doing things the right way. I had invested too much time in some things and neglected some other important things. Why?
No records! I had been doing things with my head. No routine, no checklist, no to do list, nothing! All I did was wake up and do anything that comes into my head. My emotions have lead me wrong. I discovered that I was only doing more of what’s trending in my heart and neglect the rest.
This shouldn't be affecting me because I know and have written some articles on this topic of penning things down to keep record but it seems I have been lackadaisical in recent times.
So it’s simple. You either write it down and keep tracking your daily growth or whatever it is you want to achieve or write it off unconsciously. It’s funny but true because you wouldn't realize on time that you are neglecting some things which you have termed “important” to you. Your experience and intelligence has nothing to do here. It’s a very simple principle that doesn't concern who you are or what you do.
It’s Monday, a great day to start writing something down or continue writing it off unconsciously. I wish you well in your endeavors this week.
We’ll meet again tomorrow readers. Remember to share and stay jiggy.🤗
