You are charge of earth, not God.
Often times, when we humans are told to pray to God, what we usually think about is the things we want to ask of Him, the things we want Him to do for us. We have undermined the use and essence of prayer. We are always quick to remind God about the many things He is yet to do for us forgetting that His will is not being fulfilled. Let me take you further.
In this verse, God says we should come and commit to Him the work of His hands. The question is that if He is God, the supreme being, why do we need to commit the work of His hands to Him? Why can't He just take charge of the things he has created? Isn't He God? Why do we have to command Him?
This verse is simply saying that God actually needs our permission as men to operate in this physical realm. God is a spiritual being and He has set the law of non-interference which He also is subject to. The law says:
Spiritual beings cannot access the physical realm except by a physical entity and physical beings cannot access the spiritual realm except by a spiritual entity.
Kindly take your time to digest that please. That law means that God cannot do anything on this earth except if a man wills it to happen. This is why you are in charge on earth.
So when we pray, we are not supposed to see prayer as just a means of asking God something. Rather, we ought to see prayer as the permission we men give to God to allow His will come into existence on earth (because it is already existing in heaven).
So when you want to pray next, remember that God’s will is greater than your requests. If you had permitted the will of God to happen, you wouldn’t be requesting for that which you are requesting. You would have gotten that and more as a gift from God a long time ago.
I know this might sound a little bit confusing but kindly take the time to meditate on it properly for a divine epiphany. I sincerely hope that you get it like I did. May the light of Christ continue to shine through you and I.
We’ll meet again tomorrow.🤗
