You don't need everybody.
Before we begin this morning, kindly read through this chat with a long time friend who messaged me recently.
Are you following? Your rapt attention is required here if you want to get the point.
After that last response of “Ok” from this person, I haven't heard anything since then. Not a single word; even after reading my message of apology.
After this incident, I realized that as humans, some people don't need to be in our lives but we don't realize it on time. We keep joking with ourselves until we can no longer withstand ourselves again. But that shouldn't always be the case should it?
Some thoughts have been seeping into my mind recently and it has surely affected my behavioral pattern to some extent. I will be a year older in some days — 26th April — and I can't help but think that time is going. There are some certain things I don't think I can do anymore. Maybe the two or three months ago me would have consented to that reunion and then we will begin another cycle of an unfruitful companionship but this present self just cannot.
In Psalms 90:12, the Holy Bible says, “Teach us to count our days aright, that we may gain wisdom of heart.” God is in support of thinking about our days on earth so we can be wise. I don't know about you but I have dreams and goals I am working towards in life so it has been affecting my reasoning in recent times. I can’t help but think that I have to double my work rate if I want to achieve these things.
This is my advice of wisdom to you this morning: “You don't need everybody just like everybody doesn't need you.” You have to let go of some people because you don't share the same goals. It’s that simple. If we don't realize this early enough, it will affect our inherent greatness. We need to understand that our greatness is not an assignment that should involve everyone although it can get to everyone.
Please do well to drop a comment and share. Cheers to our greatness!🥂🥂🥂
