You might just waste this month again.
Did I scare you with that title? I am very sorry if I did. I just wanted to quickly inform you about things you should do if you do not want this month to be a waste.
You had some goals at the beginning of the year didn't you? How far have you gone with them? Are you getting bothered that you haven't started accomplishing those goals now that we are in the fifth month? Hope you haven't thrown them into the garbage like those trashes in the image above? I totally understand your pain and I have come with some reasons why you aren’t clinching those goals yet.
They are just three and if you can put them into use, you’d surely see changes.
Firstly, have you involved God?
You’re shocked right? You shouldn't be lol. God is the author and finisher of everything so if you make a plan and you do not involve the One who will help you bring it into fruition, then you must be joking.
Note: The fact that you involve God in your goals and plans isn't a yardstick for laziness. God won't come down from heaven to help you work your work. He will only do His part and if you fail to do yours, the plan won't fall through.
Secondly, have you been caught up in the delusion of procrastinating?
I referred to procrastinating as a delusion because it only helps you to imagine things in your head; it won't help you achieve those things. In this month of May, you should avoid voices like:
I will do it later.
I will do it when I am less busy.
I will do it when I wake up.
I will do it when I get strength.
I will do it tomorrow.
Those voices are delusions. They never happen so you shouldn't believe them. It will get you nowhere.
Lastly, have you been consistent?
How frequently do you do the things that bring results? Once a week? Once in every three days? Once in every fortnight? Once a month? How frequently?
If you want a tangible result this month, you must work on that goal at least once a day. You should avoid missing any day if you really want your goals to be accomplished. Remember that success doesn't come from what you do frequently; it comes from what you do consistently.
I hope that you have important found areas you need to improve on. I sincerely do.
Happy New Month.
Till tomorrow,
Stay jiggy,
Abayomi Johnson.
